Our Story –

It’s a story of Lad ( pramod kumar ) who hails from small City patna (Bihar) India.

Those Were the Days -

It all started when he (Pramod Kumar) was completing his Bachelor Degree from Delhi University in 2003. One of his colleague was staying in UK ( United kingdom ) who was very fascinate about Fashion, New trends & Historical culture. Later on he ( pramod kumar ) went for PG ( FRM Fashion Retail Management )  from NIFT ( National Institute of Fashion Technology )

 

IDEA Generation To Make It Happen:

The Idea for corset manufacturing started from there (college) itself , Both Friends were constantly in touch, use to talk almost every week on yahoo chat. After a long Duration of chat which lasted for almost 3 years, They finally decided to get into manufacturing. Initially it was too tough for capital investment, However they managed it from their friends & family, and Started with just one single needle machine & one tailor who was kind of all rounder  (You can say Master ) . 

As india is one of the biggest producer for the textile it was easy for us to pick number of different fabric Whether it’s Brocade , Cotton , Polyester , Silk , Jute , Satin , Taffeta, PVC etc. It was easy to find few accessories all well.

 

Hurdles

Where we got stuck was for Steel Busk , Since it was not easily available in the market , initially we were importing but that lead us to higher production cost, but we had decided to make Good quality affordable corset. So we started  R & D ( Research & Development ) for the Busk. It took More than six month to get developed final Busk of good quality. Then we started with our own developed busk & later on in 2010 finally developed rebate less Busk which is very good for lighter fabric like Satin , taffeta by using this rebate less busk it does not leaves any mark of busk on the fabric, whereas other ( busk with rebates ) leaves the mark.

 

Another problem we were facing was of slippage ( that is slip of fabric from seam when force applied on lace for tightening the corset. ) So we worked on that & finally found a solution to fuse the lighter fabric with another fabric in order to strengthen the fabric. Later on we sorted out this with fabric production department & finally got better quality fabric as per our description.

 

One more problem we were facing was for the strength in thread, after pulling the laces from back side thread use to break & so was making damage into corset. We sorted out this problem after meeting one of the oldest & biggest thread manufacturer & specially developed 3 ply Coats Thread.

 

Apart from these 3 major problem we were facing lot of other issues like for powder coated Steel boning , spiral steel boning , Grommets & many more. Because of all these we have refunded or replaced with new corset as soon as we heard & received images & videos as proof.

 

Slowly & steady we overcome on all these issues at the end of 2009 & today we are specialised for Corsetry.

 

You can have look at our 100% Positive feedback from ebay customer  as well. From 2010 onwards we have sold more than 10000( ten thousand) Corsets on ebay . And more than one lac corsets through our website, either directly to the consumer ( End User or Retailer ).

 

Today Corsets Queen is just a team of 25 people having production capacity of 2000 ( Two Thousand ) Unit monthly. Currently we hold more than 20000 ( Twenty thousand corsets in stock ) Ready to ship.
